Testimonials

The patience, care and time PWI shows each individual pays off with immense growth mentally and physically. Working with the invested and knowledgeable trainers at PWI has helped me exceed my Division I goals. I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without the PWI trainers.

As an athlete, Ryan and PWI have helped push me to the next level. They have helped me gain strength back post ACL/Meniscus surgery, and become more explosive and stronger as a basketball player. Ryan has played a huge role in where I am today as an athlete, competitor and person.

From the first knee injury I have had, going to PWI has taught me how to overcome my own mind. Training there has pushed me to a new level that I didn’t believe I could achieve. Ryan helped me increase my strength, agility, and vertical jump. He has the type of personality that pushes you without knowing it, and it has helped me a lot with both sports and life.

Through out my time as being a high-school and college athlete I have always had one constant trainer! Ryan worked with me since I was a freshman in high school and giving me support in becoming a better athlete winning 11 state championship titles and assisting in my pursuit of my throwing career in college track. I have had a lot of different trainers, however Ryan is one that listens to me and adapted my training whenever my body needed something different. He is also great at encouraging me to get to my fullest potential. Now, after 3 college conference championships and being a 2 time All American, he supports me in my transition out of college sports. He is someone that meets you where you are at and helps build the athletic career you are wanting. I appreciate everything Ryan has done for me and giving me so much time with training and even coming to important meets /games when he was able to.

Following hip replacement and shoulder reconstruction I needed guidance for a long term exercise and physical training program. I was 66 years old at the time, but showing signs of age with weakness and pain. I found PWI had just the program of supervised fitness that I needed to enable me to succeed. They first gave me a thorough assessment of my condition and limitations before starting, and with the advise and guidance of both a knowledgeable Physical Therapist (PT) and an experienced exercise trainer, my program was tailored for my needs and has allowed me to progress well beyond my projected level of rehabilitation. I have gained strength, balance and confidence and have near total reduction in latent pain. I have returned to golf, skiing, gardening and chasing my wife and grandchildren. I love the discipline and patience of the PWI team and recommend them to anyone who wants to become younger, rather than older next year!

I contacted the trainers at PWI as a last resort after degenerative spinal conditions in both my lower back and neck were causing frequent nerve pain. I was considering surgery to stabilize the vertebrae in my neck.

Their personalized strength and conditioning program has stabilized my spine and I am now pain free and physically fit. As an added benefit, I am able to remain active playing tennis and golf and am looking forward to skiing and snowshoeing this winter and a bicycle trip next summer.

Before training at PWI, I feel I had a false sense of what it meant to be physically strong. I found myself doing power lifts than really did not benefit myself as a baseball player. In fact, most of the lifts I was doing was actually hurting my performance. Within my first few sessions, I began to target areas of my body that I did not even know existed. We emphasized the idea of fast twitch muscles as they are the most important as a baseball player. Over the two years I’ve trained at PWI I can say that you’re not going to find a more hands on trainer that takes more interest in their athletes. Here at PWI, you are pushed mentally and physically because they can see everyone’s full potential. I know that the success I’ve had up until this point is due to my time spent at PWI.

For the past 5 seasons we have had the opportunity to have Ryan in our gym. He designed Volleyball specific workouts and adjusted them based on our needs as a program. Having him in our gym twice a week for an hour and a half allowed our girls to get stronger, move quicker, jump higher, and be conditioned for long rally’s and/or matches. Every year by thee end of the season, Our team was one of the best conditioned teams in the state. We saw this time after time and year after year. We will continue to have Ryan train our girls because he is knowledgeable and truly cares about the athletes health and growth.
— Gwen Forster, Eaton High School Head Volleyball Coach

As an athlete and being committed to doing my best, I have really gained a lot of experience, confidence and strength from PWI. My trainer Ryan has been a mentor to me and has inspired me to work hard to achieve my goals. The knowledge that the trainers have in so many different sports and training methods has given me the strength and endurance to excel in my sport.
— Lainee Hauer, 3x State Champion, Volleyball, Track and Field

PWI is an outstanding training program. Because of Ryan, l have created myself. At PWI they teach you that strength doesn’t come from what’s inside of you, it comes from overcoming obstacles and challenging yourself every single day. Before I came into the gym, I had zero self motivation and no confidence about my athleticism. The program built my confidence and I could never have been as successful as I was without it. Hard work is so rewarding and PWI helps you run faster, jump higher, become stronger, and create yourself.
— Ana Scott, 5x State Champion (Volleyball, Track and Field)

PWI has been the greatest resource for me to better myself as an athlete. Also giving me the best examples of what a correct training environment looks like while providing the best training experience. After training under Ryan’s guidance for a little over 6 years, I have grown to know the best dude you can ever meet! On top of that, Ryan has helped me grow as an individual and inspired me to excel in my athletics and academics. Ryan and the PWI staff are one of a kind and I am extremely grateful for them! I’m happy to say that all of my success and accomplishments ARE a direct result of their training!
